Divina – Immersive Excellence is a multiplatform project conceived for the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forestry, aimed at enhancing the cultural element of rurality by celebrating the Italian regions where wine and food are treasured traditions of excellence. Presented for the first time at Vinitaly 2024, the installation offers an engaging, immersive experience that strengthens the sense of belonging and love for our country across all community levels—from school children to entrepreneurs, from workers to older people.
The Work in Three Acts
ACT I – The Divine Nature
A video-artistic experience that, through the lens of a microscope, explores the essence of wine, unveiling the hidden wonders of plants and grapes in their most intimate details. The visible colors emerge from applying lighting techniques that reveal the elements’ optical properties and crystalline structures.
ACT II – The Divine Nation
Accompanied by narrated audio, an immersive video celebrates the beauty and richness of Italy’s agricultural landscapes. The regions and territories are honored through an animation created with the 3D technique of Tactile Design, applied to the original contour maps of Italy’s wine districts.
ACT III – The Divine Tasting
Enhanced by an epic and triumphant soundtrack, an immersive video showcases Italian wines’ flavors and olfactory notes, visually merging them with photographs of their origin’s regional landscapes.
